I don't believe the ball joint are different. Should bolt on cept for the brake line might need changing. The master cylinder will need changing or at least a appriopriate proportining valve.

I hope it was from a 74 or older, cuz I think 75-up are different.

You need to change the spindles. That is the part that the ball joints are connected with. Also, you need the caliper brackets that attach to the spindles. Also, get the master cylinder and proportioning valve from the same car.
Dont know if the 75s and up are different......... |

'75-up are definitely different.
Find a '69-'74 Nova or clone, '69 Camaro/Firebird, or '69-'72 Chevelle or clone. Get the spindles, calipers, caliper brackets, rotors, backing plates (AKA dust shields), master cylinder, proportioning valve, and all associated hoses, tubes, and hardware. Some of these are available at an auto parts store, but caliper brackets, backing plates, spindles, and hardware are not. Chevelle/clone steering arms should NOT be used, and I think their calipers may be a bit different. Steering arms from others are fine, but be sure the lengths match on left and right. About three different lengths were used, and left must match right. Shorter arms will quicken the steering, and will increase effort, especially with manual steering. Longer arms, vice-versa. |
