I need ideas...

This is more for fun than anything because I've got a lot of money I'm investing into the stock car for now, but someday hopefully I'll get to do this...

HELP ME COME UP WITH IDEAS THAT'LL BRING THE MUSCLE BACK TO MY '99 V6 PONY MUSTANG

All thoughts and ideas accepted.

Just so that you all know, it's a 1999 Ford Mustang V6 Pony stock EVERYTHING.
201hp
stock 15'' rims
single inch and a quarter exhaust.

The absolute only things I've done to it was because I had ten free minutes and $30 extra bucks. I bought a cheap exhaust tip from Autozone for $26.67 and cheap flames from walmart for a grand total of $2.03

That's it. It also ran a 17.459 best quarter-mile time at Bandimere Speedway down south of Denver, Colorado.

The goal is muscle. Like I said, any and all ideas welcome.

Sell the car and get a v8, Their a dime a dozen.

Supercharge it for $3000-$4000

Do a V8 swap

Im not sure on the 99 mustangs but a you may need a bigger radiator, Posi or even a different rear end, Transmission, electronics ect. In the end its not really worth putting the money into a V6. Your not going to get any resale value out of a v8 swap or a supercharger. NOS is another option but even with a reasonable shot NOS you probably wont beat a stock V8.

My main thought was the swap just to get rid of the pony. Then I wanted to run a V8 with 3'' headers, intercooler (no spray--I believe in real muscle), dual glasspack exhaust with a thrush muffler, 21'' OZs, fresh paint (darker), bodykit (front and rear bumpers at least) and make the fake scoops real. Then I wanted to play around with the interior, remount seats (as I'm a little taller than your average sportscar driver), take out back seats and turn into sound system area, while also having a custom dashboard, racing belts and harnesses.

These are just my original ideas. I want my car to be a mix of tuner and muscle (preferably more on the muscle side)...I want your ideas to incorperate into this someday (because again, I'm putting my mula into the stock car first)

This would be your cheapest option to get more out of it for right now.

I need ideas...

you first need muscle ,even if your stuck on ford .
get a V-8 juice.
muscle cars where stopped after 1973 when gas lines ran out in the streets.
your riding in a golf cart or go cart .
you ran what in a 1/4 mile?
granny's in electric scooters can almost beat your time .
when you've got lead under you ,and you launch out of the lights and you feel the force thats got you pinned to the seat ,
and it's over in 10 seconds or less ,
you got muscle .

first off I think you need to do some research. Because judging from your post you really don't have a clue. first off 3in headers???? ***. intercooler?? an intercooler is used when running forced induction. a glass pack is a type of muffler. so you would be running three mufflers if you had dual glass packs and thrush muffler. SO I am not trying to make fun of you just saying you should do some personal research first and then bounce ideas off people. good luck with the build.
