I need info. please.

I haveno idea what gear ratio I have in the rear end of my 1981 Ford F100.
A friend of mine had me lift it up and roll the rear wheels and count the drive shaft revolutions. After doing this I came up with a 1.25 on the d/s? He didn't know what to make of that and sent me a link to ya'll. There is no tag and I can't find a stamp on the housing or axle. Any help is appreciated

gear ratio

just pull apart the axle and count the teeth on the ring gear and the teeth on the pinion gear divide them(ring from the pinion) and you have your gear ratio.

With only one wheel turning, count the drive shaft revs per 1 wheel turn and multiply by 2.

Since you have no tag, you could have a 2.50 in a truck.

(I put a 2.50 9 inch chunk in a 460 F-150 truck in 77 and 3.00 to 2.50 only helped about 1/2 mpg)
