I Need To Know If The Motor Will Fit

I Have A 1965 Cadillac Fleetwood And The 429 That Was In It Went Bad. Now A Friend Of Mine Has A Good 425 Out Of A 1977 Eldorado Fwd. I Want To Know Wil The Motor Fit In The 1965 And Will The Trans Work Or Will I Have To Get Another One

the trans bell bolt pattern is the same . as long as the eldo motor has bolt bosses for the mounts to fit the 65 it should work.Sweet ride by the way.
