I need a mechanic in L.A.

HELP!!!!!
I need a mechanic who knows 1st Gen Camaros in Los Angeles (preferably Bev Hills/Hollywood area. I have had my car at the Chevy dealer now for 2 months this time. The last time it was there a month...and I've only owned the car for 4 months!!!!!
I'm having things done that are just outside the stuff I can do myself, but this is ridiculous! Any referals would be greatly appreciated.

Hollywood Hotrods are pretty good at the older Camaros/Mustangs. They are in Burbank off of Olive and the 5 FWY

Hollywood Hotrods??? Do you have their number?

I bought the car knowing it would need a "few things", but some of the stuff I couldn't do myself due to space limitations, tools and a serious lack of talent!
I started looking for a mechanic who knew these cars....no luck anywhere. So I took it to a dealer in LA.
The first time at the dealer, I had a power brake booster and electric vacuum pump installed (to go with the front disc brakes) and a new transmission (B&M)...took just over 1 month. (Said they had to wait for parts, only one tech there would work on the car....etc ,etc.)
This time (after apologies and assurances) was to replace the rear leaf springs, shocks, adjust the transmission (shifts too soon and no passing gear) and install the gauges and tic toc tac. I also had to call vendors, buy parts and have them shipped to the dealer. TWO months and counting!!!! I still dont have the car back. They tell me maybe by Thursday! So that's why I'm looking for a GOOD local wrench.
This car is NOT a beater, its a gorgeous 68 convertible, red with all new black interior, SS upgrades, it just needs some "fine tuning". I'm going to install the convertible-specific vibration dampers, stereo system, and a few detail items myself. I'm going to have my 350, low compression motor either pumped up or go for a new crate and maybe a rear end ratio to replace the 3.08 open. Stuff like that...but not until I find a decent local shop.

Thanks for responding and letting me vent!!!!!

I think you will be happy with their work. They are the shop that will be welding the frame up for my Pinto project. I will do all the cutting and fitting but the people in my Apt. building will freak if I take out the welder again!

This months issue of Custom Rodder has a article with the shop in it. They were building the door panels for a Caddy.
