i need a piston ring part number. 98 350 vortec

i can't find a part number for a set of ring to fit a std bore 98 350 vortec engine. it has the small oil rings (if it helps). about what will they cost? thanks

I`m not much help on part numbers, but you can get them through advance auto parts or the like. They`re not cheap, Lowest set I found was $76.99.
I was looking at getting them when I built my Vortec, but decided I`d just use KB pistons since I couldn`t get any quench out of the factory dish pistons.

Part no.s will vary from each vendor.. These pistons take shallow millimeter rings and they are pricey.. Good ones retail for $90.00 +. A lot of guys see the price and just buy a set of new std. replacement pistons for a 350 with the old rings 5/64", for about the same money. BUT, this is not good as the replacement pistons are usually WAY heavier than the OEM rattlers!!!!!
