I need a special drawing
If this is appropriate to put here, I would like to ask if someone could draw something up for me? MODS.....if it is not appropriate, please delete it. TIA!!!
It is in honor of my wife Joyce. I am thinking about getting a tattoo. But it has to be a special tattoo.
My wife has Breast Cancer. We just completed all the rounds of Chemo. Now she has to go back in, have yet another surgery, heal from that, then start her rounds of Radiation.
What I would like to get is a drawing of the Phoenix Rising from the Ashes with a pink ribbon around it's neck. I would like it to go on my arm. I just can't draw or sketch. About all I can do is a straight line with a ruler.
If someone could help me out, I would greatly appreciate it. Also I would like to get some kind of saying to the effect "for all women that has to endure the Demon". Or something similar.
If no one can do it, I understand.
Sorry to hear that your wife is going through a rough time, Kevin. We'll think positive thoughts for her, you and your family. You may want to go to the following website to see some nice tattoo designs:
Hit "View Contests" and in the search box, enter "Phoenix" and you'll see some designs you may possibly like. Hope this helps somewhat.
Don't know if you have an artist in mind yet, if you'd like I can ask my guy who he would recommend in your area.
These are tough times I'd imagine, but your support is bound to help her. Good luck to you both.
Kevin sorry to hear about your wife. I hate cancer.
My mom beat breast cancer, I believe she was still in her 30's when she got it, I was a young teen at the time. I never met my grandma on her side, because she died young of breast cancer before I was born. I also lost two aunts on that side from breast cancer, one just turning 40, and other was in her 40's too (that was one of my moms older sisters, and I was pretty young when she passed). Moms side is a big family, also had a few other aunts that were able to beat breast cancer. Needless to say, my mothers side does a lot of walks, ect for breast cancer, and the local paper did an article on them years back. Lost my dad to lung cancer a few years ago as well, and scary watching how quickly it can progress, and how sick the treatments themselves make a person.
My prayers go out to you and your wife during this difficult time.
