I am working on a 1940 Lasalle 322 CID Flathead 8 and I need the timing degrees to time the engine. I cannot time it by vacuum because the fuel pump is also the vacuum pump and it throws off everything. I have a LaSalle Fisher maual but it doesnot give the timing degrees.

Maybe this link or the attachment will help...I question the accuracy as they call these "V-8's", is yours a straight or V-8?

I thank you I wasnot finding that spec page. it is a 322 flathead V-8.They are very tempermental if the timing is not right on it won't pull itself out of a tree.LOL The gentalman I am working on this one has a 1940 LaSalle Sedan series 52 and 1937 LaSalle series 50 coup both with 322 CID. Thanks again.
