*** Blush ****

You guys are so funny, I had a real good time reading all your posts ! This photo of me is actually really terrible, my face looks weird on it. The thing is my camera needs to be serviced, it no longer can focus properly. I went offroading in the sand dunes at Glamis, CA some time ago and we got cought in a sand storm, sand got everywhere and some is still inside the lense .

I promise to take some real pin up shots soon, I have some cool ideas for roadster pictures incorporating me in a smart, cool, artsie way, so I plan to do a photo shoot very soon (a real one). Who knows maybe I can interest a hot rod magazine in them?

TONIGHT HIBOY AND I WENT OUT ON A SECOND DATE! He took me for a nice drive and out for a quick bite at the local cool hang out where I found him the per-fect parking spot and everyone was drooling over him hehe. A man in a 150K ferrari parked next to me and him and his buddy were both checking my ride out carefully. So I walked up to them and talked to them and he said: "Oh, is this your ride???" So I said YES. And he said "No, REALLY, is it yours???". And I said "Yeah, REALLY". So he said "No, REALLLLY?" etc etc (I kid you not - he had to ask THREE times). He was very impressed LOL< then asked me: "So what do you got in there?", so I went on and on about everything I "got in there" and then he looked at me and smiled and said: "You are really into this aren't you!". And I said YOP, really LOL.

Between you and me I thought it was real cool that a guy who owns a 150K sports car thought my little rod ROCKED... It's like I am part of the "boys club" now hehe.

Pulled into a gas station for the first time tonight. Opened the tank, took one look inside and went I think it is rusted inside. Will ask Jeff (my Beau) to take a look at it with a strong flashlight tomorrow. Do I see more expenses in my future ? (well, you got to spend your money on something, better be a hot rod than hair dressers hehe).

Car looks great! But I didn't see a shot of you driving down the road with your hair blowing in the wind and bugs in your teeth. Perhaps when you do your photo shoot. Have a great time in your hot rod. You will find that you now own a car that has fun built into it; so have fun with it.

Yep----Duece was correct
Dial up at home-------slooooooowww
Pic 8 was the one
Thought the 'puter was done.

(got to work and checked the others---cool car, good luck good luck with it)

If ya like the look of the front drums---there is someone that makes a disc
conversion that still retains the drum appearance----can't remember who it is though.

Congratulations on the purchase of your DREAM CAR ...

I really enjoy reading of the search and consummation of the search. I especially enjoyed the JOY you had driving the roadster home the first time.

The joy and euphoria of buying a Roadster can only be surpassed by the JOY of driving one and having a relationship with one. Some folks NEVER know that joy with a car. I have owned my 32 Roadster almost 30 years and some folks mistake my enthusiasm for 32 Roadsters as a " Gold Chain " or elitist attitude ... and nothing could be further from the truth ...
I just LOVE them ...

Keep us posted ... on the progress of that " special " relationship ...

Deuce ...

You guys are going to love this one!!

I noticed yesterday that my roadster sported an LA ROADSTER bumper sticker on its windshield

I thought that that was WAY too funny.

Needless to say it was prompty removed and placed where it really belongs... (I'll let your imagination run wild on that one hehe)

That LA Roadster sticker ... on the windshield of your roadster ... was removed from a ROADSTER that was actually in the LA Roadster show. They put them on the headlight lense ...( not the windshield ) when they come thru the gate. I seriously doubt your roadster came thru the gate in it's current condition .... because shiny paint is required to gain admittance ... not primer.

I have a few of the LA Roadster headlight stickers ... from the times I have been in their show ... with my 32 Ford Roadster.

I also like yours better than the yellow one.I never cared much for the mega buck cars. Looks like a real nice driver and it screams cool! I love it! .....................Not that ir really matters, is it a "kit" car or steel? Just curious.
