Everyone is entitled to have their views..Just does not mean we all have to go along with them..

Only thing that ever gets to me is when some guy is whining and carrying on and ya ask him just how would he fix it and he looks at his shoes..I do not do protestors real well at all..!!!

I always feel like I am pissing someone off when I post politically. I am truly passionate about the topic. Too engrossed, I guess.
I need to take a vacation from it, because all I see is futility, and REFUSE to give up the fight.
I see a trend of more and more people truly fustrated with our government. We lose more liberty every day, yet we give more to non contributers. We give money to countries that will not return the favor as well. We do this for strategic purposes, but I question the true value. I see the fustration in peoples faces, and some seem misguided in MY opinion. They do not seek out the roots, yet only try to pull the surface weeds. They forget where "The Government" gets the money from. They don't realize that we opress people by giving them long term help. I'm getting started again, so I will hit the brakes!!!

If anyone wants to chew the political fat, just drop me a PM. I really don't want to offend people. Its making me look like a complete ***.

I don't think your posts make you look anything except articulate and passionate. People may question your point of view or press you on your facts now and then, but that does not mean they don't respect your opinion or your thinking process. I know from my own personal perspective I've sometimes picked at your conclusions, but my primary intention is to get at the accuracy and validity of the data and history which backs up your thinking process. If you have the correct and valid background data and I don't, then I need to rethink my own conclusions. If, on the other hand, you have stumbled into some inaccurate data and I can help point that out, my guess is YOU would want to rethink your conclusions or at a minimum, pursue additional research to insure you are on the right track.

In the end, whether you are coming into a discussion from a liberal or conservative point of view, your arguments are much much stronger if your research, data and historical facts are on the money. I think lounge discussions can help us all to make sure we are operating on solid information...not just a whim or a guess. When your facts are solid it can only strengthen your conclusions in the eyes of others.
