buy a oil pan drain plug with a magnet ($10?), the magnet is isolated from the plug and pan so it can catch and hold metal to remove when you change the oil....alot easier than opening filters....and say a prayer to the great motor god before you remove the magnetic plug: "please!!!!.no metal on the magnet"
