I wanna feel it

350 .030, balanced roatating assembly, flat top pistons, .272/.454 cam, 67cc pro topline straight plug heads, Holley duel plane intake, Holley 600 carb, Hei distributor, turbo 350, 1800-2400 stall, 373 gears.

This combo has 1 1/4" headers, glass packs, stock breather, AC R45ts plugs, stock wires.

If I put new headers, flowmasters, K&N, New Wires, hotter plugs, and some sort of new distributor, would I feel the difference?

The headers alone can give a 10% or so increase in hp. the new plugs, wires, and distributor will show a difference with a snappier throttle response.

I felt a difference when I went from 2 1/4 dual turbos setup to a 2 1/2 Flowmaster setup. I imagine if you do all these upgrades and then drive it again it will bring a nice smile to your face.

2.5 inch pipe is plenty for the setup and 1 5/8 headers would be great. You're running a bigger cam than stock, make sure you can burn all that fuel!!! Its useless otherwise! You need a hot spark, and for a few bucks you can get the coil or module or whatever you need to make that happen. That's gonna be your biggest gain, and you're going to feel this power on the top end. Also experiment with your timing.

you have to select them on heat range. Might want to run a hotter plug-

Is an AC R45TS a hot plug? Waht plugs are better, NGK, Bosch, Autolite, or Champion?

For your combo, I'd say 1 5/8 headers and some 2.5" flowmasters would make a good difference.
I don't think you'd notice a difference with a new distributor though. Don't get me wrong, the MSD billet distributors are great, but your engine is pretty mild and a good working HEI will be able to keep up. Performance wires are better than stock, but again, with your mild setup, you probably won't feel a difference.
Of course, if you're going to continue building it up, you'll need all the best stuff at some point. It won't hurt anything to put it on now, but don't expect everything to make a noticeable difference right away.

I have faith in the stock distributor being enough. I don't have faith in everything in this old distributor being in perfect working order. It's working good enough to run, but could it be better, could there be slack in it. The headers on it are 1 1/4". Would 1 1/2" be enough enlargement on the headers?
