I wanna restore my old plastic chevy interior
Hi guys........
I have a 1979 Chevy BIG 10 truck and I wanna restore the badly cracked and faded dash as well as the both plastic door panels. I am not sure what or how to go about this but I do want them to look good when I am done.I have priced out new parts and I just don't have that kind of cash to spend. How would I fill the cracks in the dash?

i had a 79 pickup, the dash was held in by 4 screws under the front lip and easily slid out
i brought it to a guy to get re-upholstered he padded it and put vinyl on it for $120

Try this place: www.coverlaymfg.com They have ABS door panels and a dash cover for your truck in 11 different colors. The dash cover goes on right over the old dash pad. Total for all three pieces retail is about $365. That's pretty hard to beat.
