I want to buy truck with a volare front clip but

So heres the facts

1957 chevy short box step side project
volare front clip
Imported from states to canada (will need inspection)
current owner did not do the clip. Truck now in canada
Heres the Questions

What do I look for to see if this clip has been done right.
Is there certan measurements to take and from where.
Any info or links would be helpful.
There is some travel involved in looking at this project and with the inspection pending. Its best I go in knowledgable. I have searched on the subject. lots of how to, But looking for more
Thanks guys

A plymouth volare front clip on a 57 chevy pickup......done right???
Isnt that an oxymoron Like sanitary landfill, Government Intelligence...etc.
OR are you saying the front suspension under the truck?
front clip is the body( front fenders hood grille) that cant be pretty.

I recently read a thread (I think it was here) on a similar deal, where the guy had to get a frame modification approved.

The catch was, an engineer had to sign off on the repair/modification before Canada would OK the inspection. No one would take that responsibility, as they didn't do the repair, and apparently the guy who DID do the repair wasn't an engineer or affiliated w/a shop w/a structural engineer.

You might try a search here for more on this. It was in the last couple months.

Good luck..
