Hi there
My name is Chris. I have been in touch with Eliot Mansfield who has referred me to you.
I hope you can help.

Turbo-Hydramatic Transmission S/N 8YZM-Y-01380924-1978
Can you tell me what this has come out of?
Supposed to have come out of a Transam, it is going into a Corvette.
Grateful to you for any information.

Many thanks
Chris

I merged the same question to one thread....

what year corvette is the installation intended for?

the number tells me the trans is from a F body car. 1988

Depending on year of corvette , there are differences.

Mid 1980's & up corvette use a torque arm setup... The rear of the main case of 700 trans is beefier than a standard 700 case. Also there is no bolt hole for trans mount to bolt on a corvette case
