Exclamation Identify this 1930s Chevrolet Master Deluxe Cpe.-help!

I first saw this car a couple of years ago when I was substituting for a parer route, and saw this 1/4 mile from my house, and I.D.'d it to the extent under the subject line; yes I know it's black. So, please help identify "Betsy". Now we have to save her!

the last one! hooray! I'm not sure which is the grage pic, but I think it needs the touch of Martha Stewart. Or, the touch of an automotive-sensitive demolition expert.

looks to be about a 39-40. First thing I would do, is get it out of that garage.

From the picture that shows the front end a little bit, I can see it isa 1940 or newer. Probabley a 40 or 41. Wish it was in my workshop, lucky you.

It is a 40 or older and I'm sure it's not a 41 here is a picture of my 41 and the headlights are part of the fenders.

God Willing, if I can get the guy (his house isn't much better than his garage) to give it up, how'd I get the garage off of it? Also: how do I convince him to sell it? If he gives me an offer, and I can't afford it, make a post on it.

Misc. Info: I'd prolly sell it, I have no space, and my step-dad is giving me his '74 AMC Javelin for graduation, probably since he likes his 2004 Saturn VUE powered by a Honda v-6

Specs on the Jav: Green, Green interior, the trunk is my bondo-buddy, back seat is "swollen", rally wheels.
360c.i. v8 (240 sleepy hp)
4-speed topped w. hurst t-handle
3.43 gears out back (he said he should've gotten the economy 3.18s for gas mileage, it had "too much torque" with the 3.43s. If he wanted economy, a v-8 wasn't the way to go.

As to talking the guy into selling it to you this takes finesse and cunning. Your now on your way to learning this, maybe trade for work such as tear the garage down or help around his place, fix up his house, anything to work it off, never say you are going to rod it you want to keep it original. start talking, and maybe even alittle begging . There are a million ways to do this, first offer to work it off and then try to bargain with him if that won't work, just make sure you have your deal in writing, or bill of sale, maybe get your parents involved if needed. and myself I would find the room to keep it, when your my age I think alot about the one I use to have, meaning any older car and those I let get away.

Wish you luck and if you get it and need to sell it will go so fast it will burn you

Quit taking pictures and get that baby out of there..j/k. That's quite a find, Maybe a sob story on how grampa had one and how it reminds you of him???I'd try to keep it, it could be one of those cars you'd wish you kept, later on in life. You can always sell them but you can't always buy them back. Dan's word for the day. Dan

I'd love to keep it I have no time or money for a project like that So I think it'd be better off fixed up instead of sitting in a pole barn for another 30 years.

(in other words, I'd sell it if I got it)
