Question Identifying the year on my C-4 trany

Don't know how to Identify the year on my transmission. It has no id tag on it but have these numbers RF-EA97-006-AA

Often times there will be a dial stamped with a number inside on the housing and or the valve body that number is the year of the tranny.

C4 Casting Code Info-

Recheck the casting number on the case (prefix incorrect) and try to cross reference on the above chart. Cross it to an assembly number and I will try and give you the year and application.
