idle for a 383? what about timing?

just curious if someone could tell me what my idle and timing should be around with my engine. the engine specs are as follows:

"383" Chevy
350 block
400 crank
Comp Cams Hydrualic Flat Tappet 292 cam with .501" lift
world products s/r torque heads
crane gold full roller rocker arms.
750 cfm edelbrock carb stock rods and jets
2500 b&m stall converter
th350 transmission


if i left any important stuff out just remind me.

also i am up in reno, nevada so my altitude is pretty high, about 4500 feet.

My Brother and I did one of these for a Vega race car we built. We ran our's at about 12b. But we recurved the distributor and used a vacuum gauge to determine the best timing(@12b) Oh and we had to change the vacuum advance with an adjustable one also. I hope this help's :)
