Idler Arm 65 Impala

How do you remove the idler arm on a 65 Impala?There is no room to get a wrench on the nut.What should I do?

the nuts on top of the frame it sits at a bit of an angle if you cant get to it from the engine compartment you might need to take off the inner fender well to get at it. there is a plate with 4 bolts that comes from the fire wall if you take them out you may be able to move it back enough to get your arm up there.


i have a 66 and ironiclly the only 2 pieces that are attatched to the car forward of the fire wall are the center link and the idler arm but with the complete nose off and suspention off the frame access for me isnt a problem at the moment
