If I drive my small block for 40 minutes with open shorty headers
Will I hurt the engine? I am getting the exhaust replaced and while it is getting made the car will be at the interior shop. It would be easiest to drive the car to the shop, the alternative is to trailer the car....comments?

Why not throw together some elbows and dump the exhaust out of the wheel well behind the tire? You wouldn't want to drive it like that very long and keep the windows open.

Cheapest way to move your car is to purchase the AAA towing package that gives you four tows a year up to 100 miles. Cost around 80.00 a year. I used up all of my tows for about four years in a row when building my coupe.
