Post If you were buying?

Okay.
The MSD setup went waaaayyyyyy to hi for me, but Ive found an msd billet dist on Ebay for buy it now at 115.00 bucks. It has the low cap thats setup for tunnel rams n blowers, but uses an external coil.
Or, I found a buy it now HEI proform Distributor with 50,000 volt built in coil for 139.00 bucks.
Both are cool so which one? I like the Billet due to the blower clearance, but will the Hei fit under a blower? But the Hei has the built in coil already to.
Let me know. HG

Personally I like the external coil style because of the size. I ran a Accel Billet distributor (from Jeg's) in my Malibu. It was about the same diameter as a Soda Can and had the external coil...The HEI is bigger so if space is limiting take that into consideration. Also you can get a HEI cap/rotor pretty much anywhere, MSD or Accel external coil style require their own Cap/Rotor.
I have ran both in vehicles and liked both styles...but my preference is the smaller external coil style( which is also a HEI ignition)
Later,
