Its a weld in kit. You have to box the frame, weld in cross member and the top hats for the springs. I didn't have much of a choice because that old S-10 front end was not going to work at all for it. As for keeping the stock axle I'm not sure of. There is a guy here in town that has a '42 1/2T PU with the stock front end but he only has a 235 6cyl in it also. I got the spring problem I told you about fixed today but haven't got pics yet.
