Post IFS or frame swap ?

Hi all , just got a 51 chev and I had it up on the hoist and the frame sure looks thin compared to todays trucks so I was curious if clipping the thing or doing one of the IFS setups out there is the way to go being that the thing looks very weak or is putting an S-10 chassis under the truck a better way to go ? Just looking for some opinions . Thanks .

Outlaw17 I did a sub frame on my 55 chevy pick up and a Fatman mustang kit in my sons 54 chevy pick up. The mustang kit was easier to put in and rides a lot smoother. It cost ws a little higher because of all the mustang parts I had to buy. If you decide to go with a subframe, make a jig to locate your front rad support befroe you cut the trucks frame off. This will help you make a new rad support mount onto the subframe. I didn't and it took a lot of work to figure out where to put it. Hope this helps
