I have done a couple of those installs years ago and they work very well. You will likely have to reduce the P/S pump volume and pressure if you are using a GM pump. If you can find one, the Pacer wagons had anti-roll bars for the front ends.

Ck LMC, Brothers as one of them sold two mounting brackets that allowed for easier installation of the entire assembly. Ck to see if you can find ball joints for the Pacer as well! I did not use the assenbly for my a 49 because I could not find ball joints. I did find two about a year too late, but cannot remember if it was the upper or lowers that I could not get. Ditto on cut 1/3 of the spring off a GM pump. Rack and Pinion were available as rebuilt only from NAPA a couple of years ago, have not ck'd recently.
