Ignition wires MSD or f.e. ACCEL to MSD pro-billet & digital-6??

Hello!
How big is the difference in power of MSD ignition wires and the others, for example ACCEL? The difference in the price is big.
I have a stroked 383 engine on almost 500hp and are going to drive with msd pro billet dist and digital-6 box and a msd blaster ss coil.

Thanks
Stefan

ANYTHING but Accel. I use Taylor's, and have always had good service. Some swear by MSD, GM, Belden and Moroso (which I have used as well with good service as well). Accel - even with a stock Ford Duraspark, I had problems. I'm using an MSD small diameter billet dizzy and a 6 series box, Blaster coil and the Taylor Spiral Wound - and have for several years on other engines(this one is new, but still expect to not have any problems)

I agree with Dave, anything but Accell. Most of the major brand plug wires are made by either of two cable manufactures, either Belden or Dekoron. It pretty much comes down to preference. I also happen to like Taylors. I like the plug end shape, it makes removing from the plug a lot easier than just a round plug end.

Agree with the above, Accel would be the last resort, and then only the 8.8mm spiral wound versions. I like Moroso Blue Max spiral core or the Taylor spiral core. MSD has a good wire too but the boots are rather bulky compared to the Moroso or Taylor.

ok, thanks to both for taking the time!

Now I had the grounds to decide what to choose. And guess, it's not going to be ACCEL!
MSD or Moroso it will be!
