igntion system preference
I am putting a new ignition into a 76 vette with a 350 sbc marine engine and I am curious which ignition would be the best way for me to go. I am not sure if I should stay with a hei or move to a breakless with a coil. I think I prefer hei but it is so big it is clogging the clean look that I was trying to achieve.

thanks for the link. I wasn't sure if I wanted to have a coil pack or not, but I wanted a clean look with good performance. The only thing I need to do is find the MSD with a vacuum adv. instead of a mechancical b/c that is what I am currently set up for

Pertronix makes a nice ignitor/flame thrower that I've used a bunch. I avoid Accel, and I've had modest disappointments with Mallory.
