Illinois Rodders we are almost there we need only 300 more signatures from street rodders interested in obtaining a street rod plate! It would include 1949 and older and be good for a 3 year period. We could finally quit paying the high cost for regular plates for minimal usage or taking the risk to run limited usage Antique plates. I have attached a petition sheet for signatures of all who would utilize them please pass the word if we don't get the 300 signatures in the next two months it jumps to 1500! Thanks for the help my apologies to those which this doesn't affect hope I am not violating the board policy!

Toolman - We'll be able to get a number of signatures at our upcoming truck build.

I looked all over the DMV web site and didn't find anything about pending decision / action on a street rod plate. I am all for it and hope we can get the support needed.

One of the local Rod Benders has been talking to them on the phone feel free to call and ask for the gal named on the form she will be glad to give you any additional details
