I'm almost speechless and about to rant! {one or the other}

I ordered this internet service/program quoted at $360 (60 hours of service). Then they tacked on $14.xx for what amounted to a PayPal fee {which is wholly and entirely illegal in itself}.

They stopped responding to my eMails. I told them to refund my $$$ or I'd do a refund. They didn't reply so I did started a charge back using PayPal.

But I left it open for them to deliver said goods and I'd stop the complaint.

Now they say I violated the terms of service and turned me into some "internet charge back group"....

They say I will not get my money back, that I have now incured $240 for a retainer fee and there will be approx $1800 wirth of fees.

I think it's BS, I feel like i've been frauded but I'm being charged with fraud{I guess?}.

They can't do that can they? I just wanted my product and that option is still open to them.

What are your takes on this? or better yet any experience? A first for me.
========================
Makes me wonder if they've been here reading my political rambings

This is all BS, you go through PayPal and file a complaint and explain the whole thing to PayPal and they will take care of it. This is a scam to get more money from you because most people get scared when bad companies threaten them with fee's and have not even sent you the product you ordered. PayPal will hit them where they hurt.

Have you paid for service.? If so was it a credit card? Generally you can dispute charges/over charges with your card company, there are usually some guidelines that have to be met I have had very good luck on a few occasions.

The provider must be a Democrat.......Probably Hillary Clinton......
Check to see that it wasn't listed as White Water Defense Fund on your Paypal account....

Thanks. I was concerned but I'm pretty sure you guys are right. They can't charge me with fraud if they didn't deliver {they are the fraudsters}.

Ben2Long since the last political thread? I think it said something in the fine print about the Rove defense fund?

Seriously, if Rove is found guilty, OFF WITH HIS HEAD! Maybe I'm a tad excessive (nahhhh!), but this Country has no room for treasonists. Anyone that leaks sensitive info to the press or wherever, should be "eliminated".

Hope you get this fiasco straightened out.

Jeff
