i'm kinda new to all this...

whats so bad about double pumpers? no one seems ot like them at all. the reason i ask is that i have 2 of them a 600 and a 750. and on the other hand, whats so great about a vac sec? if i do end up switching to a vac sec, my cam was advertised as making a low amount of vacuum, so wouldn't that hurt my performance, if my cam doesn't produce enough vac to fully use a vac sec carb?

myself, i will only run a double pumper. i don't like to run a vacuum sec. carb. i like the response of the double pumper better. a lot of people use a vacuum secondary carb's because they wont stumble of the line as easy, but if a double pumper is set up right they wont stumble ether.

If a vac sec is adjusted correctly with the springs, etc., it will run right with a double pumper and not bog or overcarburate at low rpms.
