I'm leaving...

Hey gang,
my graduation was yesterday. The dinner and dance was fun times and my truck ran smooth and didnt let me and my date stranded. It feels wierd being done 12 years of highschool and end it with a short party. Somehow the 12 years flew by and we all have to assume responsibilities and meet the real world faster than we thought we should've. I am not afraid of my future, in fact I'm looking forward to it.
A week ago I got an email from Bright Wood Ranch in Alberta, Canada letting me know that they are in desperate need of counselors. I applied and quit my job the same day not knowing if I would be accepted. After 2 days however, I heard back from them. I got the position as a counselor, which pays decent and is a very rewarding job. This has left me with one week to pack for a summer cross-country. With exams, grad and commencement I have not have much time to get ready. I am leaving Saturday morning and my commencement is tomorow.
I wont be on Hr.com for at least 3 months since right after camp I am travelling to Europe with my brother to take a trip through Italy, Germany and the Swiss Alps. I am also beginning University in the fall so my time on the internet will be limited.
Thanks for all the help I have gotten here, you guys have been great! See you in 3 months!

Mike

Good luck Mike and be safe. You think these 12 years went by fast. Don't worry the next thing you know you will be married 2+ kids and a job every day for the rest of your life.. Its great just look at how many of us do it day in and day out

Goos luck and stay safe

Congrats Mike and Good Luck. BTW...you cllean up pretty nice. Hook your girlfriend up with Hotrodders and we will keep an eye on her while you are gone. LOL!!! I hope everything works out for you. And if you think those 12 years went fast, just watch how time starts flying by now. Your out of school at 17 or 18, next thing you know is that you will be 25 and married, then 30 comes along and you will wonder where the past years have went so fast. Man...now I got myself into a funk Enjoy these next few years and cram as much into them as you can. See things now that you may not have a chance to see later on. Get crazy once in awhile because it will give you something to remember later in life. But the main thing is enjoy it.
And over in Europe maybe you stop in somewhere that has the internet. If you do, take some pics, and drop them our way. Your only a connection away you know. Good luck man.

Kevin

Mike,

You need a laptop and some wireless connectivity so you can check in with us while you are off taking care of all those kids at camp.

Needless to say, we'll miss you around here. I always look forward to your questions, comments, and posts. You might be one of the wisest 18 year olds I've ever run across.

Good luck with your summer job and your trip to Europe (and with college next year).

Dewey

Best wishes on your upcoming counseling job. Enjoy the trip over to Europe, plenty to see and do. Be careful, lots of nasty people that want to take advantage of folks all over the place. The train passes are great and you can go all over the countries with them.

What is your college study going to include?

Best of luck to ya Mike! As Dewey said, you are a very wise man, just stuck in an 18 year olds' body. Which just begs the question....

....Didn't you want the Fargo to leave you stranded??? LOL!! Anyways, best of luck, have a safe trip through Europe, stay safe, and last but not least.... Don't ever forget that you're always welcome back here!

In a while, Chet.

Wow!!! What a sharp dressed man. The Fargo is looking sweet too. If you are driving out to Alberta as you go past Regina about 15 miles look to your right and wave as you pass Pense. Have a great summer and don't fall in love at that camp. Have a great European holiday and hit the books running in the fall. If you don't you will never catch up. Good luck with your future.

About the only thing they missed is to look out for your self & don't do anything you will regret later.
