im new
 im a diehard chev fan. 44 now, started at 12, own a 57 pu, '58 original 4wd napco carryall - its 4 sale, and a 71 datsun pu that i want to put in a 9" straight axel and 400 sm blk that i have.

my neighbor just brought a 55 willys 4wd pu w/ a sm blk chev stamped VO_ _ _ _ _, i think its a 283 , anybody know what year and car and trans and hp rating this motor is? THX

welcome...don't see a "VO" listed...................it is supposed to be the last 2 oe 3 letters of the number that is used.
