I'm thinking of a new project . . .

Can I make a 2-dr tin woody out of the 2-dr panel using parts from a real tin woody? Major project? Major bucks? Major stupid? Major ugly? What do you guys think????

Longboard,

What I've been seeing a lot of recently is "painted" woodies. Your panel, for example, with the wood panels painted in. Naturally, you've got to find somebody really good at it but I've seen a number of them here in the Midwest that you absolutely can not tell if it is real wood or paint. Some purists might object to painting, but I've really been impressed with the ones I've seen. And it sounds a whole heck of a lot easier to do than trying to retrofit with real wood.

What about transferring the windows? Also, some of the wood painted areas on the wagon are raised. What about cutting those off and transferring them the panel? Is this too much body work that coudn't look good, like it was just like the 4-dr only a 2-dr?
