I have NEVER used the eBay ones ... good decent used ones are still plentiful in my area ... but I have a friend who bought a new one off eBay. He has a few hundred miles on it and says it is OK ...

I prefer the new Maval UniSteer set up myself.

I'm looking into the same steering issues.
Interesting to see the Unisteer on a solid axle.

Have you figured out the bumpsteer yet?
It bothers me that the arms are different lengths...

This photo shows HOW ... it is ...
the box only goes to one side ... so no bump steer.

Go here ... http://www.unisteer.com/mm5/merchant...e=FORD+CS28-32

Mine ( on my 32 3W coupe ) drives nice ... and I am considering changing my 32 Roadster ( with a original GM Vega box ) over to the UniSteer this winter.
