Is this Impossible

Hi. I own a Wrecked Chevrolet Beretta and recently purchased a 1990 Chevrolet Corsica LTZ in hopes of swapping engines. My poor husband was cruising along pretty well up until he found that the intake doesn't line up the the heads. The ports on the intake are larger than on the head and are off about a 1/2 of an inch! Before you laugh to hard, with the financial strain that we are in because I wrecked the car, a friend of ours gave us the Corsica. So, can this problem be fixed? Is there some kind of conversion that can be purchased to hook the two together or is this impossible? PLEASE HELP before my husband destroys the garage! LOL
Thank you.

Shouldn't be any real difference unless the engines are different, are they both 2.8L engines or 3.1L ?

If he's trying to put a 3.1L intake on a 2.8L engine, or vice versa, it won't work. He'll have to use the intake that came with that engine. Along with the wiring harness from the Corsica and the ECU (computer). Otherwise you folks are headed for some big headaches.
