This Nov. 17 auction listing just rolled across our auction editor's desk. Believe it or not, I'm not trying to promote our site or the auction. That said, you really will want to check out all the great old steel that is about to be sold. I think that it is great that these cars aren't headed to the crusher. We are talking roughly 270 cars and bus loads of parts.

Right up front the auction company tells you that you may want to bring your chainsaw. Among the vehicles to be offered at auction are a Mitchell touring, a pair of V-12-powered Lincoln Zephyrs, sheet metal from several ’32 Ford two-door sedans, what is thought to be a customized Muntz Jet, several Ford Skyliner retractable hardtops, a trio of ’57 Thunderbirds, vintage Indian motorcycle, a trio of mid-’30s Ford coupes as well as old school buses full of parts including brass radiators, antique headlights, steering wheels and more.
