inexpensive 37 degree flaring tool
All- can someone recommend a inexpensive 37 degree flaring tool that will work on 3/16 stainless brake lines. I see them in the $50 range but they are not recommended for stainless. Thanks, 1930u

Shop around, I've seen the same tool for $80 elsewhere. |

I have a RIGID 37* flare tool that has worked very nicely - and has done the SS brake lines on three cars so far with no visible wear. AMAZON has one for about $110 here
Those that work right are not cheap tools. Speedway has a cheap, Chinese made version and I did own one for about as long as it took to mess up 3-4 flares in carbon steel brake line material while making fit up lines for my current car. Dave W |

Add me to the list of satisfied Rigid users. I did my s.s. brake system with it. No problems, probably last forever. Get the tool that works.....
