Post Info on the 2701 Eldbrock Manifoild

I just read about the 2701 Manifoild from Eldbrock. Eldbrock claims an increase of 9ft lbs at 3500rpm and 5 h.p. over there 2101 manifoild. They call it performer EPS Intake, and it is for 86 and newer 262-350 engines. Any of you tried this? Is this really a new manifoild? I have not heard of it. Thanks guys.

I've not heard alot about that manifold, but what I have heard is that it is the newest incarnation of the venerable Edelbrock dual plane intake manifold, apparently it has revised runners that increase intake airflow velocity and superior fuel suspension and better plenum volume. If its worth putting on instead of a good old performer RPM, I don't know, the horsepower improvements are very minimal. I'm not sure what the cost difference is though. I do know that the Airgaps work really good!!!!!!!!!!!!!, witht the right combo, they can be worth 20-30 horse over a performer intake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyone have any opinions on this fairly new Eldbrock 2701 intake?
