Info needed on a 1940 Chevy truck tilt nose

I have recently purchased a 40' chevy truck with a full fiberglass tilt front end. I have yet to identify the fiberglass work nor have I located anyone who makes a front end like this for a 1940 Chevy truck.

Curious about any re-enforecement needed and how to best lock down or latch the hood in position to the cab.

I think you are likely going to need to post some photos of the back of the hood were it meets the cowl, the hinge arrangement and so on so some ideas came come for you on how to mount it.

A65 and 66 corvette has a forward tilt hood for the latch very simple and it works,- I am using a 1984 corvette tilt front pivot latches and hood release Because i already have it and i need the tilt for the front ,also i am useing electric -hydrolic , tilt cylinders for power trim from a 35 hr mercury outboard because i have a all metal front ,you can use an electric avalible on e bay since yours is fiberglass as far as braces it wont take much for glass ,just dont get it to rigid might cause cracks ,mine is a 53 chevy but should be close ,Hope this helps
