ingersoll rand 4000 series 7.5 hp air compressor

Anybody know anything about these air compressors? Need to be able to run auto body tools and general mechanic air tools. Any advice appreciated.

Not sure what it is you are needing to know but I can tell you this much- IR compressors are generally well built and reliable for most models. Are you talking about a small shop? Large shop? Something in between? How many tools will be running at the same time? Basically you need to determine approximately how much air you will need (measured in CFM) and go from there. Is this a used outfit you are looking at?
