Greetings All,
I have begun inspection of the olds 455 I bought for my 37 pontiac. Inspected the valves and it looks as one would expect a 74ish engine to look. I tried to turn the crank and was able to get a 1/3 of a revolution in either direction before it would stop. I have no idea how long the engine had been sitting before I got it. Does this sound like a lack of oil in the cylinder problem, I would assume marvel to be the solution if thats the case, or should I start looking in other areas for the culprit? All suggestions are appreciated.
