Hi folks, i feel like a moron for asking but i need to ask. Does anyone know or have a firing order diagram for a chevy 235? i know the firing order is 153624, just dont know what that looks like going into the distributor cap.it's embarrassing but thanks! :embarrass
should have a dot on the cap for cylinder 1. bump the motor with the starter so you know which way the distributor spins, and just go around with the firing order
you could also pull the valve cover, and watch the valves/ set it on #1 TDC and then line it up where the rotor is pointing,
It doesn't matter. You can drop the dist. in at top dead center on the compression stroke of #1 cyl. and where ever the rotor is pointing would be the #1 plug wire. You just have to get the direction of the firing order right. That would be in the clockwise direction.
