Insane fix for press-fit pistons

Well since no-one sells olds 403 full-floating pistons anymore and the press-fit rods for olds now cost in the $500.00 region. I have come up with a radical fix for the problem at hand with a little something called "Dura fix".

I will post some pictures in a few days as to this crazy idea/fix I have come up with.

Also just like to add that everyone sells thee press-fit pistons for olds motors, but yet everyone only sells full-floating rods(yes the press-fit and full-floating rods ARE different, the FF rods have an oil passage and bearing, the PF rods dont have have an oil pass. and no bearing).....?? This super human logic just escapes me at the moment as to why.

So in order to continue my olds 403 build I would have to spend $800.00 for the set of custom pistons, and $500.00 for the 6.0" rods. That would have been $1,300 dollars. I hope this fix works.

Groove the pistons (press fit) for spirolocs and bush the rods? You will have to shorten the pins but they should work fine. The oil feed is nice but unnecessary.

Costs a few bucks in machining though.
