installing camshaft

I need someone to please explain the correct way to install the camshaft for an 84 camaro, V6, 2.8L. I have a repair book for 82-92 model and it does not give endplay specs for my model, so how can I find out the amount of endplay it is supposed to have?

There is no endplay spec. The timing chain is the limiting factor.
