I just purchased a set of Comp Cam 1.7:1 roller rockers, PN 1054-16, for my
1998 5.0L Ford Motorsports GT-40 aluminum head crate engine. I read about these in the July issue of Car Craft; Tech Article: "400 hp with a stock cam."
I just opened the package and there are
no instructions included; not even a one page overview. It's been a long time since I've done any internal engine work. This engine is in my 34 Ford 3-window coupe Street Rod which I built over 3 1/2 years, did everything myself.
Where can I find recommended installation instructions, to include:
1. Torque specs for installing on aluminum heads
2. Valve lash or lifter preload adjustment
3. Recommended prelube and where; ie. pushrod cup, pedestal roller, valve roller?
4. I have ARP Assembly Lube, is this adequate?
5. Anything else I need to do or be aware of
There are only 3000 miles on my crate engine.
Thanks,
Mike
