Installing a headliner

Being brave. Restoring a "72 Chevelle. I bought a new liner...no instructions to this. Need help in the adhesive brand and applying it how? Something we
were not taught in school Ha!

Completed a quick search. See if any of these threads help, if not be more specific in the search. I know that we have covered this subject a lot here before.

In that chevelle they use the ribs that go across the roof. And 3m adhesives spray on the edges.

For my self i was going to buy a liner and then put it in, but i did some looking around at the shops to do it. The prices were about 200 and that included the liner. What the shop said was that the headliner kits most times don't fit worth a darn. so he makes his own.
