installing power windows
 

I have a 1965 AMC Rambler American 330 station wagon that I want to install power windows in. (4 doors)All the kits I have seen need either flat glass(mine is slightly curved) or fits over the crank handle and is seen inside the car.I remember reading an article in Street Rodder a few years ago about a guy who would take the original regulator and convert it to power. This would be the best, but I'm open to suggestions. Thanks;Stan

They MAY be the folks you were speaking of.

They take your old AMC regulators (from your vehicle) and convert them to power.

They did not make universal kits :spank:
They simply convert yours to power.

i read a great artical on prw windows
a while back the guy got 4 donor doors and cut out the iners
reg switch and motor he had to muck around to fiit up to his glass
and bailey channel tacked it in the checked and welded it
it sounded so simple it did have a drawback he ended up moving the switch to fit the arm rest
