A 307 is a small bore 327. It is a SBC.

Maybe he was thinking about Vortec heads on an early SBC not lining up.

It'll fit but it won't do you any favours , it's a single plane intake for upper rpm range e.g. 3500 - 6500. On a stock 307 you'd be better off with a low rise dual plane intake and a 600 Holley .

*edit* well the Street Dominator was a single plane intake the last time I saw one , does that give you a clue as to how long I've been out of the hobby *edit*

The 300-36 is a dual plane street intake. Compare it with a Performer RPM. Dan
