intake highth 302 ford

weiand tunnel ram, vicktor jr heads,port match to fel pro gasket.(dont rember #) when i tighten the intake down it goes to low. aprox. 1/16 th of a inch. is there a way to make it higher? will 2 gaskets help?

You'll have to experiment. You can double the gasket, Fel-pro also makes thicker intake gaskets.

Have the heads or manifold been milled a lot, like maybe the heads to reduce the chamber, or the manifold to match a previously heavily head milled engine?? Or did you gasket match prior to verifying fit, and gasket match to the wrong location??
