will a 305 chevy intake manifold line up with a 1983 V6

I would think not. The 305 is the 60 degree truck engine and the New engine is a 90 degree v6. Its probably not wide enough to fit. Either. Unless i am thinking of a different 305 v6 engine.

The 60 degree 305 V6 is a GMC engine.

In 1986 there were both 90 and 60 degree V6 Chevy engines but there's nothing about a 305 engine's intake that's compatible w/a 1983 V6 engine.

If you're talking about a SBC 305, I think you ought to lay off the skunk weed! lol
