Anybody know how to remove light surface rust from an edelbrock aluminum intake without removing the finish?

I would just do what it takes to clean it up and shoot it with a duplicolor aluminum paint. IF you want to see what it looks like, check out my project album and look at the weiand on my 388.

Cleanup

I've had pretty good luck with some stuff called "Mag wheel and Grille Cleaner", made by the same people that make Purple Power. Its a mild acid, be careful and use a good rinse.
